CEO at Sharebite

Eight years ago, starting Sharebite began with envisioning a future where no worker — or family — in America goes hungry. Our approach to solving this was different, and it began by helping align the incentives for the private sector to undertake the burden of public good — and through partnerships with our corporate clients, local merchants, and hunger relief organizations like City Harvest and Feeding America, we created a virtuous cycle where feeding employees through Sharebite not only brings our cities and workplaces back to life, but creates opportunities for small businesses, while making a difference in our communities. Numbers tell stories. And today, I'm honored to share Sharebite’s journey through our first-ever Impact Report. In an era where ‘giving back’ is often relegated to an annual donation or quarterly volunteer day, we've built a model where impact happens with every transaction. Our inaugural Impact Report quantifies what that looks like in practice: — 10+ million meals donated to Americans experiencing food insecurity — 67,000 local restaurants supported, with 81% of Sharebite Passport transactions going directly to merchants & small businesses — 31,000+ pounds of food packed through volunteer initiatives I'm particularly moved by how many of our corporate clients, including Wieden + Kennedy, SKIMS, MarketCast, and others have embraced this model and influenced their peer firms to come along. This report isn't just a milestone, it's a benchmark against which we'll measure our progress toward that vision. I invite you all to read the full report (link in comments).
