Delighted to share that our research has been published in ACS Applied Nano Materials! "Experimental and Theoretical Investigation on Ta-Doped NiTe Nanorods for Nonlinear Optical Applications" This work explores how tantalum doping transforms NiTe nanostructures — from nanoparticles into well-defined nanorods — while systematically narrowing the optical bandgap and enhancing third-order nonlinear optical response. Combining hydrothermal synthesis, detailed structural/optical characterization, and DFT-based theoretical insights, the study highlights Ta-doped NiTe as a strong candidate for next-generation nonlinear optical and optoelectronic devices.
