🍋 Come work with us! 🍋 We’re excited to announce an open, fully funded PhD position as part of our newly started Schweizerischer Nationalfonds SNF-project: “Toward Human‑Centered Healthcare: Understanding, Measuring, and Promoting Co‑Creation of Care (CCC).” In today’s healthcare systems, patients’ needs are often not fully met while staff well‑being and professional identity are under pressure. Our project explores how co‑creation of care – a truly collaborative process between healthcare staff and patients – can lead to better outcomes for everyone. The PhD is based at the Universität Zürich – Institut für Biomedizinische Ethik und Medizingeschichte (IBME) at the Universität Zürich | University of Zurich and the ZHdK Institute for Design Research (IDR) at ZHdK Zürcher Hochschule der Künste – right at the intersection of design research, ethics, and healthcare practice. The candidate will work in close collaboration with our project partners from the Epidemiology, Biostatistics and Prevention Institute (EBPI) at UZH, the ZHAW-WIG Winterthurer Institut für Gesundheitsökonomie at ZHAW Zürcher Hochschule für Angewandte Wissenschaften, and the Center for Clinical Nursing Science at the Universitätsspital Zürich.
