These highly sophisticated installations rely on numerous sensors and motion axes to ensure a stable and repeatable pouring process. At the heart of this process is one critical parameter: real-time weight measurement. Together with our partner EASYsa, Digi Sens load cells are integrated directly on the pouring ladle and provide continuous weight data throughout the pouring cycle. Via a dedicated acquisition system and EtherCAT communication, highly dynamic measurement data is delivered in real time to the pouring control system. The control algorithms use this information to compensate for ladle movements, apply advanced filtering techniques, and predict flow variations during pouring.
