Cutting-edge technology meets reliable partnership: The SPICE 250 project exemplifies the successful international collaboration between Diehl Defence, Rafael Advanced Defense Systems and HENSOLDT. Together with Airbus Defence and Space and Eurofighter Jagdflugzeug GmbH (Eurofighter Typhoon), the partners are driving the integration of this advanced capability onto the Eurofighter platform. At this year’s ILA, high-ranking representatives of the project partners came together to celebrate the long-standing cooperation. This meeting was more than just a single milestone – it underscores the shared strategic focus on the upcoming project phases. SPICE 250 is a state-of-the-art effector designed for the precision engagement of tactical ground targets. Thanks to advanced sensors and the integration of artificial intelligence, the system is capable of automatically identifying and tracking targets without relying on external navigation systems. At the same time human oversight is ensured through a man-in-the-loop approach.
