🚨 New publications alert – and this time, two at once delivered by superstar Lucas Schreurs! 1️⃣ “Just put in a little more effort”: the help-seeking experience of patients living with obesity 👉 A qualitative study capturing the voices of people with obesity, shedding light on the barriers they face when trying to seek help for their disease. https://lnkd.in/e8sSAsB5 📌 The first one took only a little over a year to appear online — proving that sometimes even papers need a long help-seeking journey before they finally get published. 😉 2️⃣ Systematic literature review on the awareness of obesity in adults and children living with obesity, the general public and healthcare professionals 👉 A synthesis of what we know (and don’t know) about awareness of obesity across different stakeholder groups.
