Dicot Pharma has submitted an IND application to the FDA ahead of its planned phase 2b study of LIB-01, a drug candidate being developed for erectile dysfunction. The study is designed to evaluate repeated dosing and generate information to support dose selection for the next phase in the development. This is an important milestone for Dicot Pharma and the company’s first concrete step into the US market. In parallel, preparations are underway for a corresponding regulatory submission in Europe. Building on the encouraging results from phase 2a, the planned adaptive phase 2b study will include at least 200 participants and explore three dose levels across all severity grades of erectile dysfunction. A significant step forward in the development of a potential new treatment concept for erectile dysfunction.
