In sealless magnetic drive pumps temperature control is crucial. The effects of temperature rises occur instantly - therefore measuring at the outside is often too late. As visible in the video the Pt100 Sensor only records a rise of less than 3 °C while Dickow mag safe measures changes in temperature directly on the containment shell and records a rise of nearly 150 °C. This gives a lot of advantages: - Live temperature data – without delay - Immediate detection of abnormal operating conditions - Faster response before thermal limits are exceeded External measurement points can only show what has already spread outward. Direct containment monitoring shows what is happening right now.
