Some weeks ago, something remarkable happened inside the walls of Palais Wenkheim, hosted by Webster Vienna Private University : "Made in Diaspora: Art, Between Worlds and Cultures – Narratives of the African Diaspora Creatives in Vienna" was a testimony to the creative force that lives within this community, to the stories that have crossed oceans and taken root in this city, and to the power of gathering with intention. ✨Positive narratives were told. The African diaspora in Vienna is a living, breathing creative force, made of people who arrive, and create. Who carry something precious across distance, and turn it into art, into fashion, into literature, into community. That is what we witnessed on the night of June 24th. That is what we celebrated with: Terhas Berhe(ትርሐስ በርሔ), Photographer and Filmmaker; Benedicta Apuamah, Author of "Biking through Africa and Beyond" Harriet Hala, Founder of FAB L'Style Magazine Helmet & Armour, a luxury African Fashion brand by the entrepreneur Hannah Acquah Jeanne ADOUN, Founder of EVA TOURS STARTUP Ranti, Opera vocalist  and all the models who took the stage. ✨What happened will not stay in that room. It will reach multiple spaces through Deutsche Welle’s Afrimaxx and Euromaxx platforms, in different languages.
