Colleagues, friends, good people and skilled professionals were part of GitLab’s recent restructuring. I’ve been laid off before and it’s not fun. For my colleagues that were affected: my most sincere and heartfelt thoughts goes to you. I’m here to help where I can, with recommendations, contacts, etc. For hirers around: amazing people are available to work. Let me know if you have open positions. For anyone that might ask: it is what it is. The ones that had to make this decision are not feeling good about it. It’s never fun to make decisions and affect people’s jobs. Everybody is human after all. And I still love working at GitLab and will do my best to help the company to strive for success.
