Thrive 2026 | Week 24 “Discovering meaning enriches our hearts, transforms our way of life and leads to the creation of value.”— Daisaku Ikeda This week’s painting is titled Tra le Canne / Among the Reeds. This painting began with the image of a small bird surrounded by reeds, light, and stillness. But as I sat with it, it came to represent something more. So often, life feels tangled. We get caught in the complexity of ordinary challenges, and in those moments it can be difficult to see beauty, direction, or value. That is why this quote by Daisaku Ikeda felt so fitting. It reminds me that meaning is not separate from the struggle. Sometimes it is discovered in the very act of stopping, looking around, and seeing more deeply. The bird does not appear frantic or defeated. It seems quiet, alert, and present. To me, it became a small symbol of what is possible when we pause long enough to reorient ourselves. From that shift in awareness, value can begin to emerge. When life feels tangled, what helps you pause long enough to find meaning again? #DianaMarinoArt #Thrive2026 #Week24 #TraLeCanne #AmongTheReeds #WatercolorArt #ArtWithMeaning #CreatingValue #DaisakuIkeda #BirdPainting #Reflection
