𝗗𝗛𝗜 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗖𝗘𝗢. The Board of DHI has appointed Birgit Guhse as new CEO from 1 August, 2026. She succeeds Mette Vestergaard, who steps down after six years as CEO and eight years with DHI. Birgit Guhse brings more than 20 years of international leadership experience across consulting, infrastructure and the built environment, most recently as Managing Director at Arcadis in Germany. Chairman of DHI’s Board Thomas G. Schmidt says: 'Birgit combines strong commercial acumen with solid operational leadership and a technical background. She has a proven track record of driving growth and leading complex organisations, making her profile an excellent match for DHI. I look forward to welcoming her to the company.' Thomas also extends a sincere thank you to Mette for her leadership and contributions over the past years. Mette remains in the position as CEO until Birgit joins DHI to ensure a smooth transition.
