At last week's IWA Young Water Professionals European Conference in Milan, DHI contributed to two important conversations shaping the future of the water sector: innovation and people. Our colleague Frida Viktor presented her work on The presentation explores how advanced data analysis methods can help identify anomalies in sensor data and support more reliable and efficient wastewater treatment plant operations. The work is part of DHI's research and innovation activities and reflects the growing role of digital tools and data-driven decision-making in the water sector. At the same conference, Luis Campos Romรกn shared his personal career journey during a career path workshop. Originally from Spain, Luis came to Denmark to study and now works at DHI, currently in the role as Manager in our urban water segment. In fact, his connection to DHI began through the Young Water Professionals network, demonstrating how collaboration and knowledge exchange can open doors. Together, their contributions represent two sides of the same story: advancing water solutions through innovation while building the next generation of water professionals through collaboration and shared experiences. #YWPEU2026
