As climate change increases the frequency and severity of flooding, decision-makers need tools that help them understand risks and evaluate solutions quickly. That is why DHI has entered into a strategic collaboration with VRVis – Center for Virtual Reality and Visualization – to bring the advanced flood simulation software scenarify® to a wider international market. The software combines high-speed flood modelling with detailed visualisation, enabling users to perform dynamic flood simulations in minutes and compare adaptation scenarios more efficiently. It also helps communicate flood risks and impacts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through interactive 2D and 3D visualisations. ‘This collaboration allows us to make a highly innovative tool available to a broader market. scenarify complements our existing solutions and strengthens our ability to support clients in tackling complex flood and climate adaptation challenges,’ said Erik Mårtensson, Vice President, Water in Cities, Nordics at DHI. He signed the agreement with Gerd Hesina, CEO of VRVis GmbH earlier this week. Read the full story here: https://lnkd.in/dG4uaxZB
