🎉 Delighted to share that our latest research has been published in In Vitro Models (Impact factor 3.0)! Our article “Development of a Low-Viscosity PEGDA–Gelatin Bioink for Embedded Bioprinting of Complex Structures and Lung Adenocarcinoma (LUAD) Model" has been published in In Vitro Models (Impact factor 3.0). In this work, we developed a low-viscosity PEGDA–gelatin bioink for embedded bioprinting, enabling the fabrication of complex three-dimensional structures while maintaining excellent print fidelity within a shear-thinning support bath. We further demonstrated its application in engineering a 3D lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) model, providing a physiologically relevant in vitro platform for cancer biology studies and future drug screening applications. This work demonstrates how optimized bioink design and embedded bioprinting can overcome the limitations associated with printing low-viscosity biomaterials, expanding the possibilities for fabricating complex tissue models for biomedical research. We are grateful to SASTRA University for the support. We also acknowledge the support provided through the Leica STELLARIS Confocal Microscope at ABCDE Technology Innovation Centre (SASTRA–TCS Joint Initiative), funded by TATA Sons, which was instrumental in the structural and cellular characterization of the developed LUAD models SASTRA University. Heartfelt congratulations to my co-authors— Aiswarya VG, Dona Shaji, Amrutha Krishnamoorthy, and Prof. Swaminathan Sethuraman —for their valuable contributions and collaboration throughout this work. 📖 Read the article here: https://lnkd.in/gzwJzu4P #Bioprinting #EmbeddedBioprinting #Bioinks #3DBioprinting #CancerResearch #LungCancer #LUAD #TissueEngineering #Biomaterials #BiomedicalEngineering #InVitroModels #RegenerativeMedicine #ConfocalMicroscopy #LeicaSTELLARIS #SASTRAUniversity #Research #ScientificPublication #TEAMLab
