✨ Exciting News! ✨ I am honored to share that I have been appointed as a Teaching Fellow (TF) for ENFP440: Smoke Management and Fire Alarm Systems at the University of Maryland, Fall 2025! 🎓🔥 Taught by Professors Rosalie Hrybyk, P.E., and Duane Johnson, PE, this course delves into the performance, design, and code evaluation of smoke control systems and fire alarm technologies—core components of modern fire protection engineering. As a TF, I will strive to create a collaborative and supportive learning environment where students can confidently tackle technical challenges and apply classroom knowledge to real-world safety solutions. I am particularly excited to help students engage with NFPA 72, understand how smoke behaves in building environments, and see how smart system design saves lives. This opportunity not only strengthens my understanding of critical fire alarm systems but also aligns directly with my long-term commitment to protecting people and property as a future Fire Protection Engineer. A huge thank you to the Department of Fire Protection Engineering - University of Maryland for trusting me with this role! #UMDFPE #TeachingFellow #FireProtectionEngineering #SmokeManagement #FireAlarmSystems #EngineeringEducation #LifeSafety #BuildingSafety
