Today, we’re taking a closer look at our ferry Dardanelles Seaways, one of the ferries connecting Italy and Türkiye. She carries up to 3,735 lane metres of freight for our customers - that's a whole lot of cargo on the move 🚛 🚚 Working below deck in the engine room is Third Engineer Gülseren Erdoğan ⚙️ Her day revolves around monitoring and maintaining the ship’s engines and machinery, performing planned maintenance and troubleshooting technical issues 🧰 🔧  “What I enjoy most about working at sea is the strong teamwork on board, the technical challenges that help me improve my skills, and the unique experience of working in a maritime environment,” says Gülseren 🌊  Across DFDS, we operate 33 ferry routes connecting Europe, Türkiye and North Africa - keeping people, goods and industries moving every day 🌍    In our Meet our fleet series, we’re visiting the 68 ferries across our network ⛴️
