Offshore troubleshooting at its best: What does it take to keep entire wind farms running smoothly far from shore? 🌊 We’ve just taken a big step forward. 🤗 Until now, major offshore component exchanges were handled on a project-by-project basis. For each request, we assembled a team and sourced a vessel. That's changing. Now, we have set up a dedicated Major Component Replacement (MCR) department. This means a clear structure with a team lead, specialized engineers and an operations crew focused on large component exchanges across multiple sites. 👉 The aim: even faster, more reliable offshore support, all from a single source. 👉 Our next goal? Having an MCR vessel of our own. We’re currently exploring strong partnerships and hope to share exciting news at Hamburg Wind. Handling these major repairs offshore is demanding. But with committed people, the right expertise and smart logistics, we’re making offshore wind a little more robust every day. 💪 Want to know more about our approach and plans?
