A successful transition starts with a familiar face. Each year, our elementary and upper school counselors, who are both GISW alumni 🙌work together to help fourth-graders prepare for the move to fifth grade. Through a special meet-and-greet with Frau Ulrike Schweitzer and Frau Klara Fabina, students have the opportunity to ask questions, share concerns, and begin building connections before the new school year in the bigger building begins. Behind the scenes, our counselors also meet to ensure continuity of support and discuss any individual student needs. These thoughtful conversations help make the transition to upper school a smooth and positive experience for every child.
