CUO Caren Büning will take over as interim head of Latin American markets and gradually hand over to Dr. Mariana Vilmondes, CII as the designated market manager. 🎓 After studying law, Mariana Vilmondes obtained her doctorate at the Institute for Development Research and Development Policy at the Ruhr University in Bochum. Working closely with Florian Kummer, Mariana has successfully built up Deutsche Rück's business in Latin America, gaining broad expertise in both technical and market-specific areas and establishing a strong network of clients and brokers. 📝 🤝 As of 1 October, we are also collaborating with the consulting firm ARS Advanced Risk Solutions, managed by Walter Stange. Walter brings many years of experience and in-depth expertise in the Latin American markets to the table. His deep understanding of regional characteristics and economic relationships has shaped his successful work in the region for many decades. During his time at Hannover Re and Converium, Walter has been very successful in developing the Latin American markets business. “We have found the ideal solution for us and can now tackle the tasks and challenges ahead with new strength – initially in a co-leadership structure and together with ARS,’ says Caren Büning.
