Financial literacy in the UK 🇬🇧 April is Financial Literacy Month, and we're highlighting the different things we do to promote financial education across the world. Building financial understanding is a key part of our Corporate Social Responsibility strategy in the UK. Together with our charity partners and colleagues, we help people develop practical skills, confidence and access to new opportunities. 🧑🏫 Through Born to Be Empowered, we support 14–18‑year‑olds with mentoring, workshops and insights to financial services, reaching more than 1,300 students each year. 🧑💻 We also strengthen financial skills for social entrepreneurs through our Deutsche Bank Awards for Creative Entrepreneurs, supporting 400+ enterprises through colleague-led mentoring and webinars. 🧑🎓 And with Pathways to Banking & Finance, students build confidence in our industry, understanding what banks do and the skills they need to forge careers in financial services. Since 2016, over 1,500 young people have taken part. Together, we’re creating clearer pathways, stronger skills and greater opportunities across the UK.
