Financial literacy in action across Asia Pacific🌏 April is Financial Literacy Month, and we're highlighting the different things we do to promote financial education across the world. Across APAC, we support financial literacy initiatives that help children, young people and women in underserved communities build confidence, capability and opportunity. 🇸🇬 Singapore: values‑based financial literacy for around 20 teenage girls in residential care, delivered with The Volunteer Switchboard. 🇨🇳 China: programmes with Shanghai Be Better Education Development Center reach 600 children and 600 parents in urban migrant and low‑income communities. 🇮🇩 Indonesia: at the KDM Center, 70 underserved children gain life skills and financial knowledge, complemented by online sessions for scholarship recipients. 🇲🇾 Malaysia: through Financial Industry Collective Outreach (FINCO), we support sector‑wide financial literacy initiatives for underprivileged children and youth. 🇮🇳 India: with the Parinaam Foundation, our Corporate Social Responsibility Education programme supports 1,200 marginalised women through financial literacy and vocational training. 👉 Empowering individuals with financial knowledge helps create more inclusive and resilient communities - today and for the future.
