Ultrafast science aims to reveal fundamental physical and chemical mechanisms, improve energy conversion and storage, and advance biomedical and chemical control techniques (and much more). Our colleagues who build attosecond laser systems and conduct experiments at different light sources broaden the understanding of dynamics in matter happening in femto- and attoseconds. LEAPS ULTRAFAST, an ambitious new postdoctoral research and training programme funded through the European Commission’s Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) COFUNDscheme aims to drive exactly this topic and educate the next generation of scientists in this field. Looking forward to working with our partners across Europe to push the frontiers of this research. The first LEAPS ULTRAFAST call for fellow applications will be opened this year, get ready for your ultrafast applications.
