Compact accelerators and Crete – on 4–8 May 2026, the two will meet! The EPACE Summer School, organised by the EU project EPACE and hosted by the Greek research centre Foundation for Research and Technology - Hellas (FORTH) at the Athina Palace, the summer school will enable attendees to learn about the latest developments in compact accelerator science as well as entrepreneurship possibilities springing from this new technology. This intensive 5-day program delivers cutting-edge training on Basics of Compact Accelerators & Applications, on the beautiful island of Crete. -Lectures and talks by internationally renowned experts -Latest innovations in accelerator science -Networking, social events, and excursions in Heraklion – including to FORTH Register until 15 March to secure one of the 15 spots for early-stage researchers available. You will need to submit a statement of purpose with a reference person and your CV. Students (Master or Ph.D.) or junior researchers either within or outside the EU are welcome.
