Check out these gorgeous pictures – they all come from DESY and were recognised in past Helmholtz Imaging Contests since 2021. Do you have a picture from your research that could compete with these beauties? Do you work in collaboration with a Helmholtz-Gemeinschaft / Helmholtz Association research centre (or work directly for one)? If you act by 13 May 2026, you might have a picture that can join this illustrious portfolio! Those who win can get a share of the total of 4500€ prize money and inclusion in the traveling Best Scientific Images exhibition, as well as presentation at the Helmholtz Imaging Conference in Leipzig, 10-12 November. Oh, and twelve of the top images will get to be in the lovely 2027 Helmholtz Imaging Calendar.
