This week I get to be in person with Cole Knuth, Jared J Smith, Pinar Ormeci, Bill Martin and Tom Sopwith. I love the remote world. Truly. The flexibility, the async work, the ability to show up from anywhere. But there is something that just does not translate over Zoom. The side conversations. The energy in the room. The way a real laugh sounds is different than a laughing emoji. Seeing your people in person is a different kind of fuel. And honestly, it is one of the reasons I love being part of Lexful. The product is one thing. The team we are building is another. And the community that follows? That is the part I am most excited about.
