Yesterday we hosted 70 students from OneAIM at the AMBOSS office. What a cool organisation — Computer Science, Business, and Medicine in one room. Very close to my heart and soul, and very close to our life at AMBOSS 🔥... Madjid walked the group through the past, present, and future of AMBOSS. I gave them a quick tour of our AI work. Then the evening unfolded the way the best ones at AMBOSS do: discussions, Q&A, great wine and a Argentinian Asado. One moment really stuck with me. A medical student told me he started rotating into an outpatient primary care center this March. We had launched AI Mode Clinical Care in February in Germany. He said all the younger doctors around him had already adopted it — and he learned about it from them. Two weeks ago, we crossed 1 million requests to AI Mode. Hearing his story right after that hit number was a real goosebumps moment. Our team is small — 10 engineers — though of course, with all our medical content behind us, we're standing on the shoulders of giants. This kind of impact is what pulled me into product development 25 years ago. It still gives me all the feels. Thanks for coming and organising it Lucas & Caitlin!
