Leadership is often defined by selfless service and unwavering commitment to others. This Medal of Honor Monday, we honor Army Pvt. Joe Gandara, whose heroic actions during World War II exemplified courage under fire and devotion to his fellow soldiers.  His sacrifice serves as a lasting reminder of the character and resolve demonstrated by those who have served our nation.
