Applications for the Department of Treasury and Finance 2026-27 Summer Internship Program are now open. Interns work for 12 weeks from 30 November 2026 to 19 February 2027 with a team of experts in the public service. You’ll have the opportunity to tackle real-world problems, create positive change, and contribute to Victoria’s economic prosperity. Gain hands-on experience shaping social outcomes, influencing key economic and policy decisions, supporting impactful programs, and playing a role in preparing the State Budget. Applicants can choose to apply for the Economics and Public Policy Stream or the Accounting and Finance Stream. Applications close at midnight on Sunday 2 August 2026.
