We’re supporting two new projects that will expand local capability, create high-skilled jobs and accelerate the future of healthcare innovation right here in Queensland. Clinical Trials Group will deliver a new 40+ bed, 24/7 operational Phase 1 clinical trials facility in Eight Mile Plains – strengthening Queensland’s clinical research capabilities. New Zealand-based BioOra is being supported to establish automated CAR T-cell manufacturing operations – a form of personalised cancer treatment at ENTRI Biomanufacturing, based at the Boggo Road Innovation Junction (BRIJ) in Queensland. Together, these investments will strengthen Queensland’s role in a fast-growing global industry by: ✅ Expanding access to cutting-edge treatments locally ✅ Supporting skilled jobs and attracting international partnerships ✅ Building sovereign capability across the biomedical pipeline This is another important step toward a stronger, more resilient Queensland economy. More projects will be announced as we continue investing in priority industries across the state. #SovereignIndustryDevelopmentFund #Biomedical #AdvancedManufacturing #GrowingQueensland
