Major construction works are now finished on Geelong’s stunning new Nyaal Banyul Geelong Convention and Event Centre! The centrepiece of the $676 million Geelong City Deal, this important regional investment has: - created around 1,450 jobs - delivered 250 apprenticeships. From floors to ceilings, the build has engaged the local manufacturing and construction sectors, with their expertise bringing to life a design shaped by Wadawurrung Traditional Owners Aboriginal Corporation. With many events already secured, the precinct is set to open in July, bringing new visitors, more jobs and ongoing economic benefits to the area.
