🎉 Nominations are now open for the 2026 Prime Minister’s Prizes for Science! Know someone making a meaningful and inspiring contribution to science? Now’s your chance to recognise their achievements and share their story with the nation. There are 8 prize categories: 🏆 5 science prizes, including 2 for innovation 🏆 1 prize for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander knowledge systems 🏆 2 science teaching prizes for primary and secondary school science teachers. Whether it’s a brilliant scientist, a research-based innovator, a passionate STEM teacher, or an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander leader practising knowledge systems, your nomination can make a lasting difference. Recipients receive a medallion, prize money of $50,000 or $250,000, national recognition and exposure to new opportunities and networks. We encourage nominations that reflect the diversity of Australia.
