We’ve just signed the second memorandum of understanding (MOU) with a global leader in AI, Microsoft. The MoU will see Australia and Microsoft work together on: • continued investment in Australian AI and cloud infrastructure • alignment with the Government’s Expectations for data centres and AI infrastructure developers • collaboration with government on AI safety and workforce skills • support for delivery of the APS AI Plan • understanding future infrastructure needs to support Australia as a trusted regional hub. Australia is continuing to explore collaborative arrangements with leading AI and technology companies as part of the National AI Plan.
