This year, #Carbonell is celebrating its 160th anniversary in Córdoba, the city where the brand was born in 1866, by supporting one of its most beautiful traditions: the Patios de Córdoba Festival. 🌺   From May 4-17, Córdoba comes alive as residents open their stunning flower-filled courtyards to the world, sharing spaces that have been cared for by generations of families. Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage tradition, it’s one of Spain’s most special cultural events, attracting nearly 900,000 visitors last year alone.   For the second year in a row, Carbonell is proudly supporting Route 1 in Santa Marina-San Agustín, celebrating the beauty of these patios as well as people behind them who keep this tradition alive year after year. As Rafael Pérez de Toro shared: “This city is part of our roots, our way of understanding olive oil, and a story that remains deeply present in everything we do 160 years later.” A special thank you to Arístides Bermejo, Julián Urbano de Sotomayor, BLANCA TORRENT, Estefania Montes Wizner, Festivals and Traditions of Córdoba, and Córdoba City Council for their partnership and continued commitment to preserving this extraordinary tradition.
