Last week, we officially opened a new chapter for ioki. With BENTELER Group joining us as our new investor, we are opening an exciting new chapter - and at the same time closing a very formative one: our journey with Deutsche Bahn. I personally joined back in 2016. We started in a small room, with just a handful of people like Dr. Sebastian Salm Andreas Becker Sebastian Krieg Dr. Florian Krummheuer Markus Pellmann-Janssen Dr. Michael Barillère-Scholz and a bold idea: to rethink on-demand mobility and the impact autonomous driving can have on everyday life. What has grown from that initial setup still feels remarkable: • A small team became an independent company. • An idea turned into real products. • Theory became reality. Early pilot projects evolved into a growing portfolio, covering on-demand mobility, autonomous solutions, and mobility analytics. None of this would have been possible without Deutsche Bahn. I am very grateful for the long-term trust, the financial backing, and the freedom that allowed us to grow, experiment, and scale. Now, we are entering the next phase. With BENTELER, we have found a partner who truly shares our ambitions, understands our vision, and is eager to continue this journey with us. I am very much looking forward to what lies ahead - new opportunities, greater momentum, and even more impact. Together with BENTELER Mobility and HOLON we have a real chance to see autonomous mobility at scale in Europe (and beyond). Thank you, Deutsche Bahn, for everything that brought us here. And here’s to an exciting future together with BENTELER.
