It's been over a 1 Year with Sunday Robotics — and still think this is one of the most interesting side gigs out there with pretty decent pay. That 1 year ago, I started working with Sunday Robotics. Check out Sunday.ai for an opportunity to participate in Beta to have Memo the robot around your home. But my focus here is about the position as "Memory Developer" — and how it’s been a surprisingly fulfilling experience (for my "wallet" and inside look into the industry with household robotics). At a high level, the work is simple, yet challenging - you record real-world household tasks in your home to help train AI-powered robots. And the bigger picture is what makes it interesting — you’re contributing directly to systems that are learning how to handle everyday chores like: - Loading dishwasher - Folding laundry - Clearing tables - Grasping various objects - And more You’re essentially helping bridge the gap between AI and real-world environments. Why I’ve stuck with it for a year: - Fully flexible schedule (I fit it around everything else) - Solid pay — realistically to average about $45 /hr depending on your efficiency - Work-from-home, no commute - You actually see how your work contributes to something bigger It’s easily been one of the better (if not the best) side opportunities I’ve come across. If you’re US-based, have a solid home setup (kitchen, internet, dishwasher), and want a flexible way to earn while contributing to real-world AI development — it’s worth checking out. Happy to share more about my experience if anyone’s curious. It’s not for everyone — you need the drive and patience to do it well. But if you’re someone who likes flexible work and being early in emerging tech, this is a pretty unique lane. DM me if you have any questions — I’m happy to share more of my experiences and can also guide you to the referral page for the position of Memory Developer
