This June marks the 30th anniversary of National Safety Month, an annual campaign established by the National Safety Council (NSC) to bring awareness to reducing preventable injuries at work, home, and in our communities. This year, week two's theme of "Staying Safe on the Roads" aims at reducing roadway accidents and improving driver safety. It’s easy to become distracted while driving; just a few seconds is all it takes to put you and others at risk, which is why driving phone-free is important.
