On Wednesday, 17 December, we marked the launch of Air Transat’s nonstop IST–YYZ flight at iGA Istanbul Airport. This marks another meaningful step in strengthening our vision of being one of the world’s leading global connectivity hubs. With this launch, Air Transat becomes: • Our first airline from the Americas 🌎 • Our first Canadian carrier 🇨🇦 • The final new airline to join our network in 2025 🏁 The IST–YYZ service launches as a year round operation with two weekly flights, operated by Air Transat’s Airbus A330-200, adding long haul capacity and strengthening our connectivity with the Americas. Beyond the route itself, the service will support tourism and trade between Türkiye and Canada, while reinforcing Istanbul’s role within the international aviation ecosystem 🇹🇷🇨🇦 Proud to have been part of this launch and to welcome Air Transat to our network ✈️ Server A.
