As I look back at the convergence of activities over the last year, I am struck by how the diverse threads of Human Factors are weaving together into a singular narrative of resilience and connection. This video captures a few fleeting moments from that journey. It moves from the detailed precision of our electromyographic trials in the lab to the vibrant halls of the IEA Council meeting in Beijing this past October. It touches on the quiet, steady work of reviewing manuscripts for the International Journal of Human Factors and Ergonomics, and it spans to the factory floors in Ethiopia where we are learning so much about global manufacturing conditions. At Jönköping University, we are constantly asking how the specific design of a workstation relates to the broader resilience of a global supply chain. We explore how the cognitive load of a video game narrative can inform the design of a digital workplace. It is fascinating to see how these pieces fit together. I am profoundly grateful to the community that makes this work possible. The success of IJHFE and its inclusion in the Emerging Sources Citation Index is not my achievement but belongs to the authors, the reviewers, and my fellow editors who build this platform with such rigor and care. To my colleagues working on our upcoming special issue on Agile Design, thank you for pushing the boundaries of how we innovate. This video is not just a summary of "outputs" or "wins" but a reflection on the people and the partnerships that drive our field forward. Industry 5.0 is not just about technology. It is about designing systems that honor the human capacity for creativity and endurance. Thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey. #HumanFactors #Ergonomics #Industry50 #ResilienceEngineering #JönköpingUniversity #JU #SchoolOfEngineering #IJHFE #ResearchImpact #SustainableDesign #AgileManufacturing #IEA #CognitiveErgonomics #GlobalHealth #WorkOrganization #AcademicLife #SupplyChainResilience #SystemicDesign #EngineeringEducation #Sweden #Portugal #CollaborativeResearch #PhDLife #HigherEducation #ScienceCommunication #TechForGood #HumanCentric #DigitalHealth #OperationsManagement #Gratitude
