Two icons of the DEME fleet, one crossing point. Captured today in the English Channel: our vessels Orion and Norse Energi meeting on their route - an impressive encounter as they head through the Dover Strait, north of Cherbourg, France. Moments like this one are rare: two major DEME vessels in the same frame. Orion, the largest floating offshore transport & installation vessel in our fleet, and Norse Energi, our next-generation jack-up offshore transport & installation vessel, together symbolize the continued expansion of DEME’s offshore wind installation capabilities.
