Juneteenth creates space to honor freedom, reflect on history, and celebrate the strength, resilience, and cultural legacy of Black communities. At Demandbase, we believe observances like Juneteenth can also create opportunities for reflection, connection, and learning. This year, our Black Impact Group (BIG) is leading a month-long series, Circle of Life: Honoring Ancestry, Wellness & Legacy, focused on healing, restoration, belonging, and community care. Through conversations on Black birthing traditions and doula care, plant medicine, restorative wellness practices, and legacy planning, the series explores how care is carried across generations and communities. BIG is also partnering with DBQ, our LGBTQ+ Employee Resource Group (ERG), for a conversation exploring chosen family, belonging, and the importance of helping people feel supported. As we recognize Juneteenth, this month’s programming reflects the importance of honoring history while making space for learning and community. We’re grateful to the employees and ERG leaders helping foster these conversations.
