We are pleased to share that our Deloitte Thailand Tax & Legal team has successfully concluded the divestiture of ThaiRun to ASICS. Acting as the lead tax and legal advisor to ThaiRun, Thailand’s provider of comprehensive running event systems, we provided end-to-end support throughout the transaction, including transaction structuring, legal and tax advisory, drafting and review of transaction and share purchase agreement documents, and the fulfilment of conditions precedent through closing. This transaction marks an important milestone for both organisations, combining ThaiRun's established position within Thailand's running ecosystem with ASICS' global expertise and long-standing commitment to the running community. Together, they are well positioned to unlock new opportunities for growth, innovation, and deeper engagement within the market.
