A few weeks ago, I had the incredible honor of sharing my story at the Women Leading Travel Forum in New Orleans. As I sat down afterward, I realized that my remarks weren't really about my career—they were about the women who helped shape it. When I first joined Women Leading Travel in 2020, I thought I was joining a networking group. Instead, I found a community that challenged how I viewed leadership, mentorship, and success. This is my first LinkedIn article, and it's a very personal one. I reflect on my journey—from navigating motherhood and leadership during the pandemic to discovering that our greatest impact isn't measured by how high we climb, but by how many others we help along the way. I also share why I believe our industries move forward faster when we choose collaboration over competition, and why each of us has a responsibility to mentor, sponsor, and create opportunities for those coming behind us. I am deeply grateful to be part of this extraordinary community and to everyone who has invested their time, advice, and encouragement in me throughout my career. I hope this article encourages all of us to continue paying that generosity forward. I'd be honored if you gave it a read, and I'd love to hear your thoughts: Who helped you find your seat at the table, and who are you helping today? #WomenLeadingTravel #Leadership #Mentorship #WomenInLeadership #TravelIndustry #CommunityOverCompetition #PayItForward
