Life is about the company you keep. A few days ago, I sat down with my friend, Bishop Gideon Titi-Ofei, the founder of the Gold Coast University and the Pleasant Place Churches in Accra and around the world, to talk about life in general. We met in London after seeing him in Accra at the beginning of May. One thing that strikes me is his humility and openness about life—a great teacher, a serial investor worth over $30 million; his life is worth emulating. One man told me, after we bought our church headquarters years ago, that “Pastor Dele, now that God is lifting you, choose your friends carefully.” I am sending this message to you, who are fortunate to read this post, choose your friends carefully. Friends will determine how far you will go in life. Don’t just let anyone into your circle; set boundaries. A lot of people lack a sense of value, and once they abuse the opportunities given to them, let them be. Some people do not want to rise and keep them at bay. End! My name is Dele Olawanle. I am a lawyer, a preacher, and a coach. I think, write, and speak to improve lives. Share this post. Follow me for more insights and inspiration. #deleolawanlesnuggets
