DEKRA participated in the 2026 World Economic Forum Annual Meeting of the New Champions (Summer Davos) in Dalian, China, which brought together leaders from business, government, and academia to discuss the opportunities and challenges shaping the next phase of global innovation, under the theme, Innovating at Scale.     During the event, Dr. Kilian Avilés, Executive Vice President of DEKRA Group and Head of Asia Pacific Region, shared DEKRA’s perspective on enabling the safe and scalable adoption of emerging technologies. As innovation moves from research to large-scale deployment, building trust through safety, compliance, and independent assessment becomes increasingly important.
