🚨 850t GCVW. 30 MINUTES TO GET IT RIGHT.** This is the arrival at the Port of São Sebastião – SP, Brazil of a 340-ton power transformer for the Yanbu NIC Project, manufactured by Hitachi Brasil — and what you see in this video is not luck. It's engineering under real pressure. The transport configuration, consisting of 22 axle lines + 22 axle lines with a Girder Bridge, had a total Gross Combined Vehicle Weight of 850 tons. The challenge? A viaduct access road to the port with only ~8.0 meters of width, split into two narrow lanes — and a double lateral concrete barrier standing 2,0m high that made the passage simply impossible... until we found the solution. We analyzed every variable of this geometric constraint. The technical decision was surgical: cut the concrete barrier down from 2,0m to 1,0m in height, allowing part of the transport configuration to pass over the remaining structure — exactly as shown in the video. Without this intervention, the cargo would never have reached the vessel. And to raise the difficulty even further: the truck set could not stop on the viaduct at any point. The movement had to be absolutely continuous and constant — any stoppage on the structure was completely out of the question. This means every trajectory adjustment, every steering correction, every route change had to be executed in motion, without a single interruption, from start to finish. There was no room for error. 🚛 30 minutes of maneuvering. Every centimeter planned in advance. Port pilots, marine pilots, ground crew and transport engineering team in perfect synchrony. At Hansa Meyer Global Transport Brasil , we are responsible for the complete logistics of Hitachi Brasil — from the factory floor to the vessel at the port. This project is yet another chapter of an operation that demands not only state-of-the-art equipment, but professionals capable of making the impossible happen. Brazil has world-class expertise in heavy and special cargo. This video is the proof. 📍 Port of São Sebastião – SP, Brazil ⚙️ Project: Yanbu NIC | Client: Hitachi Brasil 🚨 Cargo: 340t Power Transformer | GCVW: 850t 🚛 Configuration: 22AL + 22AL with Girder Bridge 🏗️ Challenge overcome: 8.0m wide viaduct / Barrier cut from 2.0m → 1.0m ⚠️ Critical rule: Continuous movement — no stopping on the viaduct permitted #HeavyLift #SpecialCargo #HeavyHaul #ProjectLogistics #SPMT #GirderBridge #YanbuNIC #HitachiBrasil #HansaMeyerBrasil #PortOfSaoSebastiao #TransportEngineering #OutOfGauge #ProjectCargo #PowerTransformer #Brazil
