Deep Safety GmbH was honored to be a contributor at the AI4CCAM Final event in Brussels, Belgium! We were thrilled to share our innovative developments in the field of safety critical perception for autonomous vehicles and Trustworthy AI. Our Master’s researcher, Aryaman Mahajan represented Deep Safety GmbH on a key panel, presenting the findings on our Car Trajectory Prediction Model and the Scene Understanding Model, a state-of-the-art software-only LiDAR system that generates high-level perception metadata essential for risk assessment and safety validation. This contribution, developed as part of the EU-funded AI4CCAM project, plays a vital role in improving the reliability and safety of autonomous systems, especially in areas such as robust prediction and explainable scene interpretation around vulnerable road users. The event highlighted the growing importance of validation pipelines, including the use of digital twins and advanced simulation, to ensure the trustworthiness of AI in automated mobility.
