Digital Product Passport for Luxury Brands

I received this invite from the IWC Schaffhausen store in Mumbai. Kind of them, I am sure my profile is there in the retailer's system. They invite people to join the launch events, any other special events. I find it highly generic, and non-personal though. Why should I go there, am I any special? In any case the retailers are known to invite people who are "influencers" and are not even the clients. The "Engagement" layer (with the actual customers, or actual prospects) is completely broken. Luxury spent 2 centuries perfecting the "product", and the "buying experience". They have not innovated on the "ownership experience", and "post-ppurchase engagement".
