⚽ ​France 🇫🇷 takes on Spain 🇪🇸in the Semifinal match at Dallas Stadium (commonly known as AT & T Stadium), Arlington Texas during the FIFA World Cup 2026™ - Canada, Mexico and the United States. Live sites across the country will screen the Semifinals in the early hours tomorrow morning in Australia. All eyes will be on Kylian Mbappé, as he leads the team onto the field as Captain of 'Les Bleus' tomorrow morning. The French team has three of the most explosive attackers including Kylian Mbappé, Ousmane Dembélé and Michael Olise. At only 27 years of age Mbappé has already achieved so much for his country including scoring an impressive 20 World Cup Goals (4 in 2018, 8 in 2022, 8 in 2026) and has an opportunity to surpass the record set by Messi (21 World Cup Goals). Whilst France are seen to be the favourites, the team is ranked number 3 on the latest FIFA World Rankings. See below. French coach Didier Deschamps insisted at the press conference ahead of the match that he still sees Spain as World Cup favourites ahead of Semifinals. "I don't want to add extra pressure to Luis De La Fuente (Spanish coach) and their team- he knows well that people are expecting great things of Spain." The French coach then clarified by saying, "But Spain can attack well, and they can defend well. They've only conceded one goal in the last six or seven matches." Spain's coach De La Fuente smiled when reporters raised it. "Since the beginning, I've always said the fact that people say we're favourites or not doesn't mean anything. It doesn't. It's not decisive." De La Fuente added "We have that pressure anyway. We want to do well for our country." Whether or not Spain are the underdogs, Spain has a strong defence. Lamine Yamal, the rising star, was expected to score goals.
