16th June | π Neurodiversity Pride Day Today we celebrate #NeurodiversityPrideDay, an opportunity to recognise and appreciate the many ways people think, learn, connect and experience the world. #ADHD, autism, dyslexia and many more are commonly used to describe neurodiversity, but they do not capture the full spectrum of human neurodiversity. Each brain is unique, and neurological differences are a natural and valuable part of human variability. While #neurodiversity is a universal human characteristic, we also recognise that many of the barriers neurodivergent individuals face from environments, systems and expectations are built around a narrow standard that can become exclusionary when it does not reflect the full range of human diversity. Acknowledging the variations of neurological functioning therefore means not only celebrating #differences, but also actively working to remove these barriers and create environments where everyone can thrive. At Dedalus, we see this as a matter of ethical, social and scientific responsibility and we express our commitment through internal initiatives such as the launch of the Neurodiversity Hub, Neurodiversity Safe Space, the #Respect Learning Path and access to the Employee Assistance Programme (EAP), we aim to promote awareness, , psychological safety and access to professional support. At the same time, we are committed to recognise and value the unique #strengths and contributions that neurodivergent people bring to our organisation. Committing to embedding neurodiversity into our everyday work means designing systems that do not ask individuals to conform to a single standard, but instead adapt to different ways of thinking, being, and interacting. This approach reflects an inclusive vision of psychological safety, and sustainable work, where diversity is not only respected but actively valued as a source of innovation and growth. #DiversityAndInclusion #PsychologicalSafety #WorkplaceInclusion#MentalHealth
